May 21, 2005:
Take Back Red California
A Summit Meeting of Democratic Activists from Red & Blue Counties Hosted by East Bay for Democracy & DFA-Marin
Come explore how volunteers from blue counties can help
red county organizers elect Democrats and keep California blue!

We'll discuss how to build multi-county partnerships now, in order to help elect Democrats in November '06.  A panel of red county Democrats will share their experiences on the ground and identify where they most need help.  And a panel of Bay Area activists will share campaign approaches that have worked well in blue counties, which might be adapted elsewhere.

There will be plenty of time for participation, to brainstorm campaign techniques and figure out how you can plug into these efforts.

Summit topics will include:

• Setting Up Precinct Operations

• Developing Voter Registration Systems

• Working with Databases & Registrar Records

• Partnering with Small Businesses

• Writing EffectiveLetters to the Editor

• Participating in Radio

• Creating a House Party Network

• Exploring Issue-Based Approaches

Republicans have made serious gains in California in recent years.  We need your help to ensure that it remains a deep blue state!

Date: SATURDAY, MAY 21
Time:
1:00 - 5:00 pm
Place:
Redwood Gardens
