WHAT: June 25, 2008 Monthly Meeting, Club Elections and Engagement Party

Join us Wednesday evening June 25 at 7 p.m. as we elect officers for our Democrats of Napa Valley for the most important time in our history! We will be electing a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. All Club Members who have attended at least one meeting are eligible to be nominated or may nominate themselves from the floor on the night of the election. In addition, the Nominating Committee will recommend a slate of nominees for these offices.    

There are additional opportunities to serve this year as there are Committees open such as Events Chair, Editorial/Writer Chair, Speaker (for club meetings) Chair. We need energized, intelligent people also to liaison with Up Valley/Am Can and/or liaison with Napans for Obama group. 

Following the election, Democrats of Napa Valley will host an Engagement Party celebrating the California Supreme Court's landmark ruling ending discrimination against same-gendered couples seeking to enter into the civil contract of marriage.

DONV invites the public, including any couples that have become engaged or married since the historic decision to the celebration!

DONV invites all Napa County Democrats to "GET ENGAGED" in support of DONV and its work to further democratic principles and issues. Memberships available!
