The Democrats of Napa Valley organize to show California the true meaning of People Power!
On Sunday, September 17th, 2006, the DoNV sponsored a "Take Back CA Party" for our next Governor, Phil Angelides! Ours was one of many parties that took place simultaneously all across California and included a live teleconference with the candidate, himself!

On Labor Day, there was a peaceful march in St. Helena for the "dignity and justice for all the Immigrants and Farm Workers of Napa Valley and for Immigration reform." The march started at Crane Park and proceeded down 29 through Main St., St. Helena and ended at Lyman Park. DoNV President, Matt Pope spoke briefly at the bandstand.

On August 11th, there was a Take Back California Rally at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Hall, Local 38 in San Francisco. DNC Chair Governor Howard Dean, CDP Chair Art Torres, San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, and Assemblymember Mark Leno came to express their support for Phil Angelides as the next Governor of California.

The Democrats of Napa Valley celebrated the GRAND OPENING of our new Napa Valley headquarters at 1015 Coombs Plaza in Napa Town Center on August 10, 2006.
Congressman Thompson gave a talk, and Tom Fuller and DJ Rotten Robbie provided music. It was a very sucessful event!
